Entrada

 The Entrada tract in Cape Coral is a significant development project that has been making headlines. Spearheaded by Realmark, a company with a strong presence in the region, the project is a testament to the growth and potential of Cape Coral. 

The land tract known as Entrada in Cape Coral has a rich history that reflects the development trends of Southwest Florida. Originally a 281-acre development in unincorporated Lee County, Entrada was zoned for a diverse range of housing units, including single-family homes, townhomes, and multifamily units, as well as a full spectrum of Life Care facilities. With a 12-acre commercial parcel fronting U.S. 41, the area was designated for significant retail, office, and medical office space, totaling 170,000 square feet. The strategic location of Entrada,  connecting Del Prado Boulevard to U.S. 41, made it a pivotal development in the region. 

The six tracts of Entrada were partially improved to cater to the growing demand for residential and commercial spaces in Cape Coral. The proximity of Entrada to the new VA Healthcare Center and a local Publix supermarket underscores its importance as a community hub.

 The northern border of Entrada is adjacent to The Villages at Entrada, a 317-acre, 721-lot single-family subdivision developed by D.R. Horton, indicating the scale and ambition of the development projects in this area. Home prices in The Villages at Entrada range from the low 200s to the low 300s, reflecting the accessible real estate market of Cape Coral. Entrada's development is a testament to the city's growth and the attractiveness of the region for new residents and businesses alike.

The Entrada project, specifically, is a large parcel, located off Del Prado Boulevard North and De Navarra Parkway. Realmark subdivided the land into several large parcels that have been sold to developers for building gated communities.

For instance, the Funky Fish Houses concept, also conceived by Will Stout, offers a unique waterfront living experience, reflecting the innovative approach of Realmark.
